We were thrilled to receive your fine book, The Inside Secrets of Sesame Street. What a wonderful job you have done revising it into a dynamic work. I read it from cover to cover and yes, the pictures and color do add so much. The contents of the book are so interesting, and you have given a complete picture of how Sesame Street evolved into an experimental entity. Thank you for sending it. I think how all those years ago we talked about it and worked to make your idea come true.

I recently finished reading, and sometimes re-reading many sections of your manuscript, Secrets from Sesame Street’s Pioneers: How They Produced a Successful Television Series. I think it is perhaps the most comprehensive study of the origins and life blood of Sesame Street that has ever been written. It is really just wonderful. It makes rather bittersweet reading for me, as I can hear all of your conversations with Danny, Jeff, Jon, Dave, and Evelyn in their own voice, as though they are still here, speaking to us.
It is amazing that even having been with the show since the beginning, how much I learned from your interviews about the early years of research, writing, and production of the show. The actors were generally not included in those discussions. All the very best and congratulations for a wonderful book,

I recently finished reading your fine book, Secrets from Sesame Street’s Pioneers: How They Produced a Successful Television Series. It is extremely well written and has a kind of easy conversational tone that makes the experience enjoyable. You have told a story that needed to be told. Meeting all of the fine people responsible for this American institution must have been a most pleasant but time consuming experience. How you obtained all of the information and then put it together was truly amazing. Thank you for the dedication. Yes, I believed in you and you have come through in fine fashion.

Color Your World
The Color Your World coloring book is a small, convenient size booklet. It is very interesting and would be great for little children. It could be good advice about technology and activities children can do without technology so they do not get addicted to their electronics. I am glad there was a page to “Draw Your Favorite Thing To Do” so I could also draw and be creative besides coloring the pictures on the other pages. It was very entertaining and fun.
Color Your World AND Tips Booklet
Thank you, Dr. Burbank for sharing your booklets with me. Color Your World for the children is brilliant. It is a very good way to approach the children with constructive teaching through play. I will also share 52 tips For Parents: Guide Your Child to Safe TV and Electronic Media with my grown-up children, and with other parents. I am thankful and hopeful that the generations to come will not be addicted to media and TV.
